Free workshops: age limit, places and registration

According to the Sergipe state government’s specific announcement dated October 26, 135 places were announced across nine workshops, with 15 places per activity. Participants must be at least 16 years old. The schedule lists two classes in the Sergipe na Palma da Mão ceramics workshop, one on Friday and one on Saturday; the announcement does not specify whether a confirmed registration automatically covers both classes.

Funcap says registration takes place through an online form promoted on its official channels and remains open only while places are available. Applicants must wait for a confirmation message: submitting a form should not be regarded as securing a place. As of the October 28 check, neither the direct form URL nor the number of remaining places could be verified; the link described as Funcap’s website led to its institutional portal. Before submitting personal information or traveling to a workshop, check the latest instructions in Funcap’s official communications.

The official announcements differ on one workshop title: the general program dated October 25 called Ysá’s Friday 9 a.m. activity Opará: Arte e Ancestralidade Sergipana. The more specific October 26 announcement calls it Iluminar as Raízes de Sergipe. The schedule above follows the later announcement without implying that workshop places are currently available.

This festival is different from the Sergipanidade Week event

Festival Sergipanidade runs October 29-31 at the Centro de Criatividade and is organized by the state government. It is separate from the fourth Semana da Sergipanidade (Sergipanidade Week), held by the Fecomércio-Sesc-Senac system at Praça Fausto Cardoso, also in Aracaju, from October 16 through 25, 2026. The events have different venues and schedules.

The festival venue is Rua Dom Bosco, Getúlio Vargas neighborhood, Aracaju. The Cultural Parade on Saturday, October 31, at 4:30 p.m. is planned for streets around the Centro de Criatividade. Organizers announced free admission, but no independently verifiable reservation requirements or detailed entry rules were available for individual attractions other than the workshops. Editorial information checked on October 28, 2026, in Sergipe local time (UTC-3).
