Lagoa dos Tambaquis is on the coast of Estância, southern Sergipe, Brazil, near Abaís Beach and just over 50 km from the Atalaia seafront area of Aracaju. The destination is reached via the SE-100 highway area, but visitors first need to choose a specific venue: the lagoon is a natural destination, while the restaurants and leisure parks around it set their own prices and operating rules. The checked sources do not establish a single day-use price applying to every business.

Where is Lagoa dos Tambaquis and how do you get there?

Estância's municipal tourism portal places the attraction on the city's coast, near Abaís Beach and a few kilometres from Praia do Saco. The Melhores Destinos travel guide locates it along the route from Aracaju to Praia do Saco, just over 50 km from Aracaju's Atalaia seafront. For independent travel, use SE-100 near the turn-off to Abaís Beach as the general reference, but check the chosen venue's precise map pin before departing.

This matters because similar names are used by different businesses. For example, the agency Aracaju Viagens e Passeios explicitly says its customers are taken to Paraíso dos Tambaquis, not Lago dos Tambaquis Eco Park or neighbouring restaurants. An address in one advertisement is therefore not necessarily the entrance to another venue. Travel time depends on your starting point and road conditions.

How much is admission or a day-use pass?

There is no universal admission price for Lagoa dos Tambaquis. On 26 October 2026, the Lago dos Tambaquis Eco Park website displayed the following prices for that park's own day-use pass:

Payment method at Eco ParkAdvertised price
CashR$ 80.00
Pix bank transferR$ 90.00
Single-payment credit card or debit cardR$ 95.00

These are prices advertised by one particular venue and should be reconfirmed for the day of travel. They are neither a municipal admission charge nor the prices at other restaurants. Eco Park says its pass includes swimming pools, a waterslide, water-based attractions and swimming near the tambaqui fish, subject to operational availability.

Travel agencies also sell packages. In an offer checked for 26 October 2026, Aracaju Viagens e Passeios advertised R$ 70 per person for round-trip transport from Aracaju, a guide and basic access to Paraíso dos Tambaquis, excluding the attractions day-use wristband. The agency said that wristband could be bought separately at the venue for an approximate R$ 60, subject to confirmation. The R$ 70 is therefore not a general lagoon entrance fee.

What is the difference between basic admission and day use?

That distinction depends on the business. In the agency's specific package to Paraíso dos Tambaquis, basic admission covers entry to the venue, the lagoon swimming area, toilets and the restaurant, but not the wristband for pools and other recreational facilities. At Eco Park, by contrast, the advertised prices refer to the park's own day-use package. Inclusions at one venue should not be assumed to apply to another.

Before paying, request a written list of included activities and check whether meals, drinks, transport, parking, water-sports equipment, children's activities and reservations cost extra. Families, older visitors and people with disabilities should verify that particular venue's required documents and any concessions or free-admission rules. Eco Park, for example, advertises reduced or free tickets for certain ages and visitor groups, along with restrictions on bringing food, drinks and animals, and on leaving and re-entering on the same day. These are the park's rules, not rules for the entire lagoon.

Opening hours: why do both 6 pm and 5 pm appear?

The Estância Municipal Tourism Portal lists 8 am to 6 pm, Sunday through Saturday for the attraction. This does not mean every privately operated service is open until 6 pm. Eco Park advertises an 8 am opening, swimming pools and rides ending at 4:30 pm, and bar service until 5 pm. The venue may also announce closures on specific dates.

An indexed search result for the Paraíso dos Tambaquis website showed operating hours of 8 am to 5 pm, with ticket prices available on request. That webpage could not be opened directly during the checks on 26 October 2026; the opening hours and terms for Paraíso therefore need to be confirmed directly with the operator before travelling. None of these schedules should be understood as a guarantee for all restaurants around the lagoon.

What to check before paying or leaving home

  • Venue and location: obtain the trading name and the exact map pin for the entrance you plan to use.
  • Total cost: confirm prices per person, age brackets, payment method, extra charges and holiday or group conditions.
  • What's included: distinguish lagoon access, restaurant entry, day use, attractions wristbands and separately booked transport.
  • Hours on your date: ask when admission starts, when pools close and whether exceptional closures apply.
  • Venue rules: ask about outside food, pets, accessibility, table reservations, cancellation and refunds.

Sources were checked on 26 October 2026. Because pricing, commercial terms and opening hours can change, visitors should confirm details with the specific venue they choose, rather than relying on a generic Lagoa dos Tambaquis advertisement.
